Evenings at “This Land” are meant for cozy gatherings, so feel free to use the firepit. Share stories, roast marshmallows, and watch the stars twinkle above as the crackling fire warms your heart. It’s the perfect setting for quality time with loved ones or newfound friends. (Ask Karla if there is a burn ban first, please.)
Firepit Rules
- Keep the fire low and manageable.
- Always have a responsible person supervising the fire.
- Stay a safe distance away from the flames.
- No running or rough play near the fire pit.
- Be mindful of seating arrangements and exits.
- Keep pathways clear of obstacles.
- Avoid flammable clothing and materials.
- Know how to properly extinguish the fire.
- Respect noise levels, especially at night.
- Supervise children and pets closely.

Calling all grill masters! Fire up the BBQ and sizzle your favorite dishes to perfection. Our outdoor BBQ area is your canvas for creating mouthwatering meals. Just imagine the delicious aroma of sizzling steaks, veggies, and more. (Please ask Karla about grilling.)

One of the unique delights of “This Land” is our abundance of fruit trees and homegrown delights. Feel free to graze on the freshest fruits or vegetables, lovingly nurtured right here on our land. It’s an authentic farm-to-table experience that’s both healthy and delicious.

Nestled under a canopy for privacy, our bubbling hot tub is the perfect way to unwind and add a touch of extra relaxation to your stay. Please note that the hot tub experience is available for an additional fee, ensuring that your escape to “This Land” can be as indulgent as you desire. NOTE: We have a very young neighborhood, so please be aware that there could be parties. Also, the airplanes can be loud outside, but you should not hear them inside.

This path leads to the back yard. That big blue building is the gym. The Van Gogh apartment can be accessed on the deck, opposite this fence. It’s near the hot tub, which is under the pergola canopy with privacy curtains. I have created a video tour as well. Please check it out here.
Mermaid’s Cove Relaxation Spa includes aromatherapy, upon request. Big, comfy towels are in the box next to the wall. There are privacy curtains now surrounding the spa area. At night, twinkling lights keep you company!
