Fitwell Lifestyles was founded on Deirdre's passion to help people achieve a better quality of life by reaching their health and fitness goals. This passion developed as a result of the improved quality of life that Deirdre and her husband discovered when they became healthy and active after years of being obese and out of shape. 

As an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Personal Trainer, Deirdre started helping others to exercise and eat properly.  In order to be able to consult with people regarding all the issues - physical, psychological, and physiological - that kept them from achieving a healthy lifestyle, she also became an ACE Certified lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant Lifestyles Management Associates Nutrition Specialist.
