That’s not all, MSG is in a lot o foods but its not identifiable because they
call it something
else!! Some of the hidden names are: Calcium Caseinate, Monosodium Glutamate, Hydrolized Vegetable Protein, Textured
Protein, Monopotassium Glutamate, Hydrolized Plant Protein, Yeast Extract, Glutamate, Autolyzed Plant Protein, Yeast
Food
or Nutrient, Glutamic
Acid, Sodium Caseinate, Autolyzed Yeast And anything enzyme modified.
Hearing this you also
should hear the *FDA’s side. (which is not very convincing!!) Well in 1995 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration deemed
MSG as GRAS or “generally recognized as safe," They deemed this from the *FASEB studies of free glutamates
and MSG. But they
did not FULLY review the study as is stated in a report by *CFSAN or
Center for Food Safety
& Applied Nutrition partnered with the FDA. Therefore they did not read all of the information which possibly could
have led them to an alternate conclusion!! In part of the FASEB study it clearly states that some people in their
test study had
dangerous reactions to MSG. Such as bronchospasms, nasea, rapid heartbeat,
and migranes. Yeah,
sounds real safe to me!!
Hydrogenated/Hydrolyzed oils
Hydrogenation of oils
is used in the food industry to prolong the shelf life of processed foods to maximize profits. The problem with
hydrogenated oils is that your body identifies them as your natural essential oils such as virgin olive oil so
it takes the modified oils and uses it in the protection of cell walls which is NOT what they
do!! They allow
foreign substances to invade cells and stop needed nutrients. They interfere
with the metabolic processes of life
by taking the place of a natural substance that performs a critical function! POISON!!
Sodium Nitrite
Sodium Nitrite is used
as a coloring agent to make the food “pretty”. It is usually the last ingredient so it is very easy to miss. When it
combines with your saliva and digestive enzymes, sodium nitrite creates cancer-causing compounds known as
“nitrosamines”. In laboratory tests nitrosamines gave lab rats cancer!
If it’s that toxic why in the world would they put it in food!? In humans, the consumption of sodium nitrite has
been strongly connected with brain tumors, leukemia, and cancers. Yet this ingredient carries
absolutely no warning on food
labels, and in fact, seems to sound like a perfectly safe ingredient, like sodium chloride which is salt. Actually,
that’s what many people think Sodium Nitrite is, never realizing the destruction to their body’s a harmless
pepperoni could do. The USDA even attempted to ban Sodium Nitrites in the 1970’s but were preempted
by the meat
producers.
